Laura Lackey's Rhythm Revue play all shades of Americana Roots Music! Swing and New Orleans Jazz to Blues, Calypso and Gospel. Playing standards in their own style and many original songs based in the improvisational traditions of jazz and blues, the hot dance floor tunes are fresh and entertaining and the lineup often includes guest musicians from all over the globe!

Laura Lackey's Rhythm Revue began as spontaneous meetings between street musicians in 2011. The band made their way into the nightlife of Budapest, Hungary and have played swing dances and festivals Germany, Austria, Slovenia and all over the USA. With acoustic instrumentation including double bass, trumpet, saxophone and resonator guitar they are led by vocalist Laura Lackey who began playing music in the San Francisco Bay Area with the Sour Mash Hug Band and later in New Orleans, New York, London, Vienna and Berlin with the Whiskeyhickon Boys and Polish Coffee.
